The Minnesota Family Business Awards celebrate organizations that have successfully balanced tradition and innovation while navigating the challenges and opportunities that come with family ownership. Being named a finalist reflects the dedication of our employees, assessors, clients, and partners who have helped shape St. Croix Sensory into the company it is today.
St. Croix Sensory was founded 30 years ago by Donna L. McGinley as a spinoff of McGinley Associates, PA. Since then, the company has grown from a pioneering Minnesota odor laboratory into an internationally recognized leader in odor science. Under the second-generation leadership of Michael McGinley, St. Croix Sensory expanded its capabilities by establishing an analytical testing laboratory and introducing product and material testing services. The company has also opened its first international office in Canada, while continuing to uphold the personalized service, scientific excellence, and family values that have guided the organization since its founding.
